Jeff Goeman - President/Broker Auctioneer
Jeff Goeman, president of Goeman Auction Service & Real Estate Inc. entered into the auction profession in 1981. Jeff first received a real estate salesman's license in 1979 in the state of Colorado, then his home. Upon returning to S.D. in 1981, Jeff graduated from the Taylor Worldwide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Ia., In 1984, Jeff successfully completed the licensing requirements to become a S.D. Real Estate Broker.
Jeff Goeman views his ownership of Goeman Auction Service as an ongoing effort to provide their clients with excellent service and the newest technologies and methods that the industry can provide. Jeff personally strives to take his personal motto of "Treat everyone as you want to be treated, practice Christian principles, and conduct honest business" into each transaction. Mark 12: 30-31.

Brad Olson - Manager/Auctioneer
Brad Olson was the class president of the graduating class of Irene, S.D. in 1997. Upon completing high school he went on to Western College of Auctioneering in Billings Montana. Brad started his career with Goeman Auction Service of Lennox, S.D.; and Girard Auction Service of Wakonda, S.D. in the summer of 1997. Brad is a licensed Real Estate Brokers Associate, & currently manages the Goeman Auction Pavilion. Brad currently resides in Lennox, and has had the opportunity to sell over 1,000 auctions for many clients, including auctions in Minneapolis, M.N., Atlanta G.A., Council Bluffs, I.A., & all over Eastern S.D. These auctions have included some very large dispersals of Real Estate, gas, oil, soda pop memorabilia, and antique collections in the Midwest! In the summer of 2001 Brad met with Warren Moon, John Havlechek, and Pete Rose to auction some of their personal sports items to raise money for charity.

Marv Girard - Auctioneer/Real Estate Salesman
Marvin has been in the auction business since 1970. Visit his auction site at www.girardauction.com. A graduate of Reisch Auction School in Mason City, Iowa, Marv specializes in all types of real estate, modern farm equipment, estates and antiques. He has conducted and been part of over 3000 auctions during his 30 years in the business. He is a faithful member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wakonda. His wife, Pat, and children Carmen, Ken, and Mike, join him in the business.

Ken Girard - Broker/Auctioneer
Ken started in the auction business in 1997. He is a graduate of Continental Auction School in Mankato, Minnesota. He is a licensed real estate broker associate and auctioneer. He also has a degree in Business Management from Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. Ken holds the Certified Auctioneer's Institute designation (CAI), the highest degree that can be awarded to an auctioneer in the United States.

Glen Peterson - Auctioneer/Real Estate Salesman
Glen is from Springfield, South Dakota. Glen is owner and operator of Peterson Auctioneers and is a licensed real estate auctioneer and salesman. Glen conducts antique, estate, real estate and farm equipment auctions. He is also the head auctioneer at the Avon Livestock Market in Avon, South Dakota.

Larry Meyer - Auctioneer
Larry started in the auction business in 2000, with Goeman Auction Service of Lennox, S.D. after a retiring from a 40+yr. career in the millwork and building industry. Larry Graduated from World Wide College of Auctioneering, Mason City, Iowa on November 13th 1999. Larry's unmatchable knowledge of the millwork and building industry lends itself greatly to the many Building Materials Auctions we conduct every year.
During the years of auctioneering, Larry has experienced many unusual auctions. He has learned that any kind of a sale is still a "People Business". Consigners and Buyers are still the final customers.
